The business context that binds a manifest to the transaction it supports. This element is simultaneously the reassociation key for the receiver and the authorization anchor for the content server: a token grant is scoped to these identifiers, not to a resource type.

Summary

Complex Extension: The business context that binds a manifest to the transaction it supports. This element is simultaneously the reassociation key for the receiver and the authorization anchor for the content server: a token grant is scoped to these identifiers, not to a resource type.

  • businessIdentifier: Identifier: An identifier that ties this manifest to the transaction it supports. Profiling implementation guides specify which identifiers are required; for an X12-mediated prior authorization these would typically include the 278 TRN and the provider attachment control number.
  • governingResource: Reference: An Extension
  • lineNumber: string: An Extension
  • requestingOrganization: Reference: The single organization on whose behalf the content was published and which is entitled to retrieve it. The content server verifies the authenticated client against this element; authentication alone is not authorization.
